Brayden's Surfin' Safari

My first attempt at making a quilt out of baby clothes! I am not going to lie, I was a little scared of this quilt. The items were so important... what if I messed up?
I just dove right in... I started cutting squares and laying them out next to each other. In one afternoon I could see what the quilt was going to look like and I couldn't stop working on it.
I am so glad that I challenged myself and accepted this job! Thank you Sarah for the opportunity and all the FB friends!

Pink n' Purple Paisley

I haven't been blogging lately, but I have been quilting! I just finished a quilt for Baby Alice, who should be here next month! I ran out of batting (the stuffing inside the quilt) on Brayden's quilt. Of course they don't make the batting I normally use anymore. So I tried a new thinner, cotton / polyster blend. The quilt wasn't so bulky, much easier to pack in a suitcase and take on trips! I like!!
